李翰祥執導的《佛跳牆》共有四個單元，首個故事是描述一對母子因施予濟公一碗豆漿而逃過喪命之危；其二則說濟公幫助賣菜漢，逃離高利貸者的滋擾；其三則寫濟公以櫻桃化夜明珠，將大盜教訓一頓；最末一則是描寫濟公以巧計捉弄胡作非為的相爺父子。李翰祥借濟公的善行，針貶權貴惡霸的種種惡行，為平民大眾吐一口烏氣。。讲述四对不同“动物”的爱情故事，分别是“鲨鱼不吃肉Cha-larm don't eat meat、恐龙的爱Dinosaur Rak、熊别来凶Mhee,don't scold at me、老虎会吃小猫Sua wanna eat Kitkat”四个故事。。For two small-town teenagers in love, this is that one last summer they will spend together before going their separate ways.
