两个旅行者在穿越遥远的美国风景时发生了神秘事件。表面上看来一切都很正常，但看似简单的假期很快就变成了黑暗和复杂的秘密网络。。Morse and Lewis investigate the death of Laura Poindexter, an American tourist who is part of an exclusive tour group visiting Oxford. Missing from her personal effects is her jewelry, including the Wolvercote Tongue which she was going to donate to the Ashmolean Museum. The pathologist determines that she died of natural causes, but Morse feels there's something not quite righ...。
