戴亚斗（郑丹瑞）获慈禧御赐金牙，成为金牙大状，为人排难申冤名满全城，斗在诉讼的过程中，不但伸张正义，而且更能指出法理与人情之精结所在，每每令人拍案叫绝，身边还有个精通医术的得力助手袁灵芝（梁佩玲）。 王日出（何宝生）无辜被卷入名妓施思（郭少芸）的谋杀案中，斗为出澄清白，代他提出诉讼，并遇上北铁嘴田一农（张国强），两人展开激烈对辩。斗找出罪证力指此案与新任巡抚有关，怎料最后却被揭发思纯为自杀而死。斗虽败诉，但在过程中滔滔雄辩大义凛然，终于感动出愿意追随他作入室弟子。 斗往赴陈梦吉（关海山）之封笔大会，却在大典上遇唐冠石（伍咏薇）。吉被石诬陷入狱，斗为救吉与石对抗，除揭穿石乃女子之身，并发现其为方唐镜之女方田影，两人遂成为斗气冤家。 尔后，在一宗英人强奸中国村妇案件中，斗与影各自代表中、英双方，互在公堂上对辩，两人更展开一场激烈对辩……。Greece, in the 1920's, is occupied by the Turks. The country is in turmoil with entire villages uprooted. The site of the movie is a Greek village that conducts a passion play each year. The leading citizens of the town, under the auspices of the Patriarch, choose those that will play the parts in the Passion. A stuttering shepherd is chosen to play Jesus. The town butcher (who wanted to be Jesus) is chosen as Judas. The town prostitute is chosen as Mary Magdalene. The rest of the disciples are also chosen. As the movie unfolds, the Passion Play becomes a reality. A group of villagers, uprooted by the war and impoverished, arrive at the village led by their priest. The wealthier citizens of the town want nothing with these people and manipulate a massacre. In the context of the 1920's each of the characters plays out their biblical role in actuality.。Two would be killers get more than they bargained for when dead bodies turn up at a warehouse that they've never encountered before. As their work day drags on, they start questioning each other, and are driven to sci-fi madness.。
