德（王喜饰）天生拥有厨艺天份，在舅父季（刘家辉饰）的鼓励下，欲投身饮食行业，唯其父坚（梁家仁饰）却认为当厨子难有出头之日，断言不允，德只好无奈放弃，为此郁郁不乐，幸得青梅竹马好友小琳（袁洁莹饰）在旁开解，经多番努力，德终获坚批准进入酒店中菜部学厨。期间，德邂逅咏（郭可盈饰），力加追求，终以真诚打动之，琳得知黯然失落。偶然机会下，德结识了酒店太子爷豪（魏骏杰饰）成为好友，豪凡事尽心尽力，惜仍未获父亲信赖，深心不遂，遂脱离。。A pilots pregnant wife is killed by a band of thugs who break into their home.
