小有名气的漫画家小岛麻子（宫泽理惠 饰）殚精竭虑，终于在期限内完成了最新的连载。当她从昏睡中醒来时，却发现最爱的猫咪早已停止了呼吸。这一事件让漫画家颇受打击，她不吃不喝，恍惚憔悴，这可急坏了多年来合作默契的责任编辑大森（长冢圭史 饰）。大森好说歹说，带着小岛来到井之头公园散步，结果在那里小岛意外邂逅了一名流浪汉及其带着的一只幼猫。幼猫身体羸弱，感染病症，最终小岛带着小猫治好了身体，而流浪汉也将这个小生命托付给了爱猫的漫画家。取名“咕咕”的小家伙来到小岛的家中，温暖的故事悠然展开…… 本片根据大岛弓子的同名漫画改编，此前曾被改编成电影搬上银幕。。The Lego Star Wars animated sequel is a continuation of the story that began in 2024 with Rebuild the Galaxy.
